Sole is one of Campeche's favorite nightspots, located on the seaside promenade known as the Malecón. On weekend nights, Campechanos cruise in their cars up and down the wide street and many of them end up at Sole. Here you can enjoy live music on the outdoor patio or head inside, sign up for karaoke, and indulge your inner Shakira with a tune from the Spanish and English song list. Word to the wise: first, calm your stage fright with a tropical cocktail or a glass of top shelf tequila like Don Julio. If you are hungry after your performance, choose from Sole's extensive menu, including tasty and chewy arrachera beef, which we know as flank steak. Sole is locally owned by the Gonza family, which also runs Marganzo restaurant, known for its costumed servers, and the inexpensive hostel and 24-hour restaurant that share the name, La Parroquia.
