Just south of Calgary, in the Pine Creek valley, Sirocco Golf Course offers a challenging 18 holes and one of Calgary's best restaurants, Siraia. This course is tricky, with many little streams cutting across fairways and unforgiving rough. You need to play smart course-management and make your shots. But, when the Calgary Herald asked for the best 18 holes of golf in Calgary in 2009, Sirocco had 5 of the 18. That's an impressive accomplishment, but they earned it.
