Description:
With 27 holes to play, River Spirit is one of Calgary's best new golf courses. The short drive out of town is well worth it for the mountain views, particularly on the Cattails course. The Spirit and Milbourne 9's take you down into the Elbow River Valley, where you'll find deer, hawks, and even eagles (if you're lucky). This course is a fun place to play. There's a few holes where you can unleash the fury with your driver, which is my favorite part of the game. It's also less busy, generally, than Elbow Springs, which is the nearest course that's open to the public.
