If you don't want to work the coffee grinders, tell the crew you have an old football injury and enjoy the beer.
Description:
Your international crew from New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Mexico, the United States, and South Africa will teach you how to participate personally in a real grand prix yacht race on real grand prix America's Cup yachts. There are only six places in the world you can do this (New Zealand, Sydney, Newport, San Diego, St. Martin, and Los Cabos). NZL 82, the Defender of the America's Cup for New Zealand in 2003, and raced by team New Zealand until 2007, is the most modern large raceboat that members of the general public are allowed to sail anywhere in the world. You will be racing against NZL 81, AUS 29, and/or AUS 31 in a true live authentic style America's Cup yacht race off the waters of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. Be warned, these yachts will have to dodge humpback gray whales on the race course. You will not be a spectator (unless you want to be, which is fine), you will be a participant. Your heart and commitment will determine the outcome. Trim sails, drive the boat, and put your heart into grinding the sails. Tell your friends that you participated in a full-on America's Cup style yacht race in the waters off of Los Cabos, and drink a Pacifico while you steer a 15 million dollar yacht back to the victory party.
