Chef Drew Deckman trained under such famed culinary masters as Paul Bocuse and Jacques Maximin, earned a coveted Michelin star when working for Four Seasons in Germany, served as a private chef for one of the world's most famous movie stars, and since settling in Los Cabos has established himself as one of the most creative and talented chefs currently working in Mexico. Located on the site of the old Havana Supper Club, Deckman's offers innovative dishes in small and large plate formats from an ever-changing menu, about 75 percent of which are turned over every night. The only permanent fixture on the menu is an unlikely pairing of octopus and pork belly that is absolutely delicious (unlikely pairings are a specialty at Deckman's). Only locally sourced ingredients are used, and the wine here is terroir driven in the best sense, honest and excellent. This restaurant offers an amazing dining experience, with first class service and live jazz nightly.
