There are plenty of great activities available outside Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Baja Buggys lets visitors take on the dunes at Migrino Beach, and also takes intrepid travelers inland through hills and arroyos. Outback tours are also popular. Baja Outback and Cabo Adventures offer the best of these tours, and serve as great introductions to the local flora and fauna. The Cabo Adventures has a bit of an advantage for those who like drinking mezcal and eating crickets. Amigos del Mar, one of the best dive shops in San Lucas, is happy to take people swimming with whale sharks in La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur, or diving the oldest and largest living coral reef in the Western Hemisphere at Cabo Pulmo. Other options include go-kart racing in the corridor, ziplining and bungee jumping at the Wild Canyon Adventure Park, or going to visit the historic mountain potters of La Candelaria. Manta Scuba Diving, like Amigos del Mar, takes snorkelers and divers outside the city to great spots like Los Frailes, Chileno Bay, and Cabo Pulmo.
