The sign says "since 1683," and whether they were serving up fresh lobster marina side over 400 years ago is a question for the historians. What is certain is that this is the signature lobster house in Los Cabos, and has a well-deserved reputation for superb langostura. In order to satisfy customers year round, they even maintain their own lobster farm with roughly 20,000 crustaceans waiting to be chosen. This is a live lobster house, so you do choose your own dinner. Whether you like a traditional Thermidor or something with more of a local accent like the lobster with spicy chipotle plum and tamarind sauce, this is the go to location for high-end local seafood. Soups, salads, and seafood combination dinners are available, as are surf and turf options for meat lovers. The wine list here is excellent, and includes stellar offerings like the 2004 Condrieu Le Chambree Viognier and the 2000 Banfi Brunello di Montalcino, as well as a wealth of terrific Napa Valley selections. Espresso drinks are also on the menu, and pair well with their rich desserts. Lorenzillo's has another location in Cancun.
