Description:
The Copenhagen Bakery and Cafe is a really good Danish bakery, and not just because they make good sweet pastries with jam filling, but because baker/owners Ralf and Shari Nielsen actually studied baking in Denmark. How they got so good at making lunch and dinner too is a mystery. Steaks, seafood, salads, pastas and distinctive dishes such as Danish Frikadeller meatballs, pork shnitzel, and Chinese Chicken Salad give the dinner menu a cosmopolitan variety. Very family friendly, and on a busy commercial corridor in otherwise sleepy Burlingame, Copenhagen Bakery and Cafe is a neighborhood special.
