Casa Saltshaker
Address:
Description:
American expat chef Dan Perlman hosts up to 12 guests for an intimate dinner in his home two nights a week in one of the more unique dining experiences in Buenos Aires. One of the originators of the conceptual 'closed door' or private restaurant trend that has taken off like wildfire, Casa Saltshaker offers a social dining experience where the idea is to come with a date or a few friends and take your seat amongst strangers for a memorable night of new faces and flavors. Along with his partner and the puerta cerrada host, Henry Tapia, Perlman designs witty thematic menus that never repeat - think Jewish New Year, Hungarian National Day, and the anniversary of the first newspaper in the Americas. Guests pay a flat fee of AR$130 for 5 courses, a cocktail, and coffee, or, for an additional AR$60, a glass wine to accompany each course.
