There is not much to see in the direct circumference of the Déli Railway Station, but being located on the Buda side, a number of great sights can easily be reached via a short bus ride from the nearby Moszkva Square.
Our first pick is Moszkva Square, Buda's central square, from where any of the following sights can easily be reached. Located directly on the square is the Mammut Shopping Centre, one of the sixteen in the city.
Another shopping centre nearby is the MOM Park, a 2-5 minute tram ride from the railway station, ranked so high because of its conveniently close positioning.
Our fourth pick is the Castle District, a must see of Budapest and only a short bus ride away from Moszkva Square. Once in the Castle District, do not miss the Royal Palace, Fishermen's Bastion, Matthias Church and Úri Street, our next three picks that give the district its distinct medieval character.
Normafa, our ninth pick is also a short bus ride from Moszkva Square. Great for walks in the fresh Buda air.
