Hostels in Budapest
Apartment houses being turned into dormitory style hostels have become something of a trend in Budapest. These hostels with their bunks, communal kitchens and second hand furniture give a new name to ultra-budget accommodation, and are slowly becoming (if they haven't already) the trade mark of European travel. They may scare away those after privacy, but you don't need to be a backpacking co-ed to enjoy the friendly, laid-back atmosphere.
