Description:

A short ride over Vail Pass, Copper Mountain is everything you want in a "local's mountain" combined with all the terrain variety found in larger resorts. Copper's landscape is naturally formed, with progressively more challenging runs ranging from gentle beginner's slopes to dizzyingly steep bowls. Terrain parks are well-thought out and accommodate all levels of riding and skiing. With a unique location between two prominent mountain chains (the Ten-Mile range to the east, the Gore Range to the west) visitors are treated to some of the most amazing views in Colorado. In the summer, the slopes are open for mountain biking and a golf course at the foot of the mountain is a relaxing way to spend a day in the high country.
