On Saturday, March 27th, the Breckenridge Festival of Film presents a night of murder, mystery and delicious dining. The evening kicks off at 6 p.m. with appetizers and time to 'meet the cast', followed by dinner at 7 p.m. This Murder Mystery dinner features an old west theme with a New Orleans style twist, all taking place in the Top of the World Restaurant at the Lodge and Spa in Breckenridge.The cast consists of local celebrity actors led by Director, Chris Daly. Past year's casts have included "Brecklebrities" such as Mayor John Warner, Town of Breckenridge, who recalls last year's Murder Mystery dinner, "Ahhhh, the Murder Mystery Night, a great interactive event which is as much fun for the cast as it is for the audience. I had a lot of fun (perhaps too much fun) performing last year."
This night of murder and mystery is a fundraiser for the Breckenridge Festival of Film and guests are encouraged to dress in old west attire. The price for the evening is $50 per person and includes Cajun-style dinner, the show and 2 bottles of wine per table of eight. Tables of eight can be purchased for $320, a savings of $10 per person. "Not only is this an amazing evening of unique entertainment in Summit County, this is a great collaboration of the arts, bringing together live performance with the Film Festival, and giving the audience a chance to participate throughout the night" noted Dawna Foxx, Executive Director of the Breckenridge Festival of Film.
