Day 1 - Boulder
The Boulder Farmers' Market runs until the first Saturday in November, so go while you can and revel in the yellows, oranges, and reds of the vegetables and flowers. During the fall, the Farmers' Market is stocked full of pumpkins, squash, potatoes, peppers, eggplant, everything you need to have a perfectly autumnal meal, including mums to decorate the table.
After carving some pumpkins or taking a stroll down the Pearl Street Mall, stop in the Belvedere Belgian Chocolate Shop for some gourmet hot chocolate, available with either local, natural milk or with soy milk. You can even add a shop of espresso if you need a caffeine boost after taking in all that fresh, mountain air.

Day 2 - Boulder
Seeing the changing colors of the dying leaves of Colorado is a must in the fall. Head up the Flatirons for a hike or up to Nederland or Rocky Mountain National Park to soak in the yellow aspens.
There's no better way to warm up on a chilly autumn evening than with a dark beer. Try some local seasonal ales like BJ's Oktoberfest or Boulder Beer's Killer Penguin Barley Wine.
