The Goss-Grove Neighborhood is home to Naropa University's main campus, an institution of "contemplative education" based in Buddhist traditions. The school often offers workshops and lectures that are open to the public, and hosts a popular summer writing program. The Goss-Grove area is a residential neighborhood named for its curvy, tree-lined streets and community gardens. While it is proximate to downtown Boulder, its restaurants, such as Siamese Plate and VG Burgers, are generally more reasonably-priced and less touristy.
