Boulder's biggest days are its biggest events, and the best time to experience its distinctive way of life.
Most events in Boulder happen along the
Pearl Street Mall, such as the
Pearl Street Music & Arts Festival , Boulder SpringFest. and
Switch on the Holidays. Other events span various venues around the city such as
Open Studios, which allows visitors to explore artists' studios.
The
Conference on World Affairs and the
Colorado Shakespeare Festival happen every year on the
University of Colorado campus, both of which are some of the best annual events of Boulder.
The
Aerial Dance Festival literally takes dancing to new heights and Frozen Dead Guys in
Nederland is a festival based around a cryogenically-frozen grandfather kept in a shack behind a Nederland resident's house, complete with coffin races and "Frozen Dead Guy" lookalike contests.
