There are three strictly vegetarian restaurants in Boulder. Located just off the
Pearl Street Mall,
Leaf serves delicious, unique vegetarian meals in a classy, cozy atmosphere.
V.G. Burgers is an all-vegan fast food restaurant that serves amazingly tasty "bacon cheeseburgers," "chicken ranch" sandwiches, and chili "cheese" fries, all of which are plant-based. Zudaka is a Latin American restaurant that features a variety of
arepas -- gluten-free corn patties -- stuffed with vegan meats, vegetables, and cheeses (which can also be vegan).
Many other restaurants around Boulder are vegetarian- and vegan-friendly.
Tsing Tao has an all-vegan dinner buffet every Thursday, and Nepal Cuisine has an all-vegan lunch buffet every Monday.
Golden Lotus has a variety of vegetarian Chinese dishes, and even offers vegetarian "chicken," which can be substituted into any of their standard chicken dishes.
Half of
Ras Kassa's menu is vegetarian and everything on
Khow Thai's menu can be made with tofu and vegetables. Likewise, most items on
Sherpa's menu can be made vegetarian.
