The hotel has completed a US 55 million restoration project in 2002, returning the classic hotel to its original splendor. 228 rooms and 45 suites with views overlooking Newbury Street, Commonwealth Avenue or Boston's Public Garden, each with high speed Internet access and complimentary overnight shoe-shine services. Most suite-type accommodations have a working fireplace. Club level accommodations, and a club lounge, are located on the 15th floor of the hotel with extra special amenities and services that include packing and unpacking services, garment pressing for two items daily, coffee service with wake-up request, newspapers, complimentary wireless Internet connectivity.
