In Julia Davis Park next to the Idaho Historical Museum, you'll find a smattering of houses from the early years of Idaho's history. These are original dwellings moved to this site several years ago to preserve them. Visitors are welcome to walk inside the houses and read the interpretive signs. School children studying Idaho history frequently come here for docent led school visits during the school year to learn about how Idaho pioneers lived.
