The cheese plate is just the thing for a quick afternoon cup of coffee. Or for the start of dinner. The Soupe A L’Oignon (aka, French onion soup) is superb for a lunch or light dinner. Fish and beef are excellent choices for dinner. And for dessert, chocolate fiends must try the chocolate mousse. Or if chocolate is not your personal god, then try the Melissa:two layers of white chocolate bavaroise, raspberry mousse, and dark chocolate ganache.

On weekend evenings, Cafe de Paris has live music, which is always low key and appropriate for the space. It will not impede conversation, but it does add ambiance. In the summer, you can opt to sit on the sidewalk deck, but please know that this is one of the busier streets in Boise, so you will have to put up with a fair amount of traffic.
