Description:
On the edges of Chapinero and Teusaquillo, the Parque Nacional makes for a great respite from the chaos of the the Carrera 7 and downtown and offers the visitors a breathing space amongst the pine trees and well tended lawns found here. Immensely popular, the park has fountains, pathways, kiosks serving fresh juices, an open air theater, a relief map of Colombia, a work out circuit, clay tennis courts, a football pitch and even an all weather sports pitch for roller hockey, blind soccer and other sports! In short, there's a dollop of everything here. On weekends the park is full with families enjoying the open air stalls providing grilled corn on the cob and other local fast food delicacies.
