For more or less 40 years the good folk at Myriam Camhi have been ensuring that very visit to Bogota involves some readjustment to the waistline making us recall that after the age of 18 we no longer grow upwards but horizontally as if reaching out to colonize the horizon with an expanding gut. Of course between adolescence and the present day there's but one mainstay, our love for dessert. This I fear never diminishes. At Myriam Camhi you can have your fill of traditional Colombian desserts, try their cheescakes, pecan pies or other terribly delicious offerings. And this tirade of positive feedback ends not here, you can justify your dessert driven trip here masking it as a lunch break. Don't think you fool anyone else by ordering the establishment's overwhelmingly healthy minestrone soup, everyone on the premises knows that this is no more than an excuse and a prelude for what comes next in a caramel and sugar coated parcel!
