You don't happen across the restaurant Leo Cocina y Cava, you make reservations to come here and you stick to them as who could pass up the succulent and fresh offerings that are flown in daily from all corners of this immense Colombia to adorn Leonor Espinosa's delicious creations.Espinosa clearly believes that both the kitchen and the act of cooking in addition to the ambience of the restaurant should be an artistic production and it shows. There is an air of calm about the place and each dish is painfully composed.

Try the fresh filets of Robalo wrapped in plantain leaves or the seafood in coconut juice, cilantro and pepper or the coatal specialty of the carimanola - a yucca-based meat pie but with Espinosa's touch - filled with smoked rabbit. And if the seafood slanted menu is just a little too much, opt for a huge pork chop encrusted with toasted fat bottomed ants from the Santander region. And there are more than 180 wines to choose from as well.
