La Cigale is both sophisticated but unpretentious and spread over three floors in a prime location in the Zona G, offers excellent dishes for any craving at a reasonable price. And rest assured the owner and head chef, Francois, is indeed, French.

Fill yourself with the carpaccio, risotto or pasta but leave enough space for duck, mussels and the Extremadura steak! Where to start where to finish? The menu is maddening as it just makes each offering leap out at you so delicious does everything sound.

And if you get this far, well, finish with a dessert of course, and make it the three textured mousse that balances white chocolate upon dark chocolate and medium chocolate leaving one contented and salivating for he next visit to this fantastic restaurant.
