Far more relaxed than many more of its counterparts, Kolores de Peru is an excellent option for this type of food should you find yourself in, near to or even staying in the downtown colonial candelaria district. Settling down to dine here at this restaurant is in many ways a voyage through the culinary landscape of Peru from its Andean highlands, jungle lowlands and the arid Pacific coast.  Begin your meal with a causa limena before a lomo saltado and then a suspiro limeno to finish. If you are not drinking alcohol, then steer clear of the potent Pisco Sour and enjoy some chicha morada instead.
