It is quite understandable why Dos Gatos y Simone has expanded to include another restaurant in the north of the city, it is quality, filling, vibrant and well priced. Students line up outside in the block at lunchtime downtown in order to get a fill from Simone's lunchtime specials. Favourites here are the burritos and larger mixed platters. The cuisine, well, it's Mexican with dashes of Colombian in there appealing to a huge clientele. The Sopa de Tortilla is among the best offered in Bogota and the wait staff are attentive in this bright and accommodating locale. And for those who are up early enough, there are breakfasts on offer too. But, for those night owls, on occasion Simone lets out the restaurant for evenings complete with DJ and cocktails.
