Description:
This bastion was built around 1635 to defend the port if anyone ever went through the
Fuerte de San Juan de Ulua. It is the last standing piece of the walls that used to run around the city to defend it.
Today it is a museum that houses some very unique pre-Hispanic relics called "Joyas del Pescador" (The Fisherman's Jewels), that were part of the load a ship was taking to Spain when it suffered a shipwreck.
