Spiritualism and nature unite in this house of God, inhabited by monks of the Camaldolese Benedictine order. Here, the brothers (joyfully) labor in hospitality, retreats, a book store, writing, and original art, pottery, and music. Any traveler is welcome to come to the hermitage for a respite.
The monks open the doors of the hermitage to those seeking a quiet place to reflect in the expansive scenery that surrounds the grounds. Silence is a hallmark of the hermitage, though don't except stern faces and stone-age accommodations.
