Big Sur Campgrounds and Cabins (BSCC) offers a happy medium for those looking to get away from the creature comforts of modern life without sheltering themselves completely from the wild. While one can camp in their own tent here, or park their RV, BSCC also has a range of cabins to choose from. Their tent cabins are solid structures that come with queen size beds, linens, and comforters. While they are certainly rustic, at least you won't be pitching them in the twilight cold or occasional downpour. The wooden cabins at BSCC come in a couple of styles: single room units or 2-bedroom units with a kitchen and fireplace. Every cabin has a private bathroom.BSCC emphasizes family, and to that end they go to great lengths to insure visitors of all ages have a memorable and joyous experience. An on-site playground is frequently crawling with youngsters. Laundry facilities, hot showers, and a camp store keep the grown-ups happy too.
