The British never stray too far from their native foods, and since some British have made Beijing their home you can be sure to find British cuisine in the capital of China.
The most popular and well known obviously British restaurant is Fish Nation, which specializes in the ever-British Fish and Chips meal. You can also order a sausage and chips, and the staff serve a few mixed drinks and beers as well. The place is a hole-in-the-wall behind the Sanlitun Village, but the food is good and Brits flock from around the city to wait in the street for the chance to have a deep-fried fish meal.
For your typical British-style pub food, head to O'Briens where you'll find the food you have come to expect from the Redcoats without much fanfare. Reasonably priced, this is also a fun place to head in the evening with friends.
Steak and Eggs and Sculpting in Time are great little British/European cafes that serve European breakfast meals as well as the expected American variations. You'll find something on the menu to enjoy regardless of where you are from.
For fancier British/European cuisine, head to Blu Lobster, Aria or the Vineyard where you'll get high-class dining British style, without having to leave China.
