Up from Plaza Catalunya towards the more 'modern' area of Barcelona, it's pretty much Gaudi central. From Casa Batllo to La Pedrera towards the Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell, there's so much Gaudi to absorb, amongst plenty of other unique and interesting things to do and see in and around Parc Guell.
Our number two pick is right in the center or the parc. Gaudi's house is definitely worth checking out, if only to catch a glimpse of the incredibly small bed this mastermind used to sleep in. Not exactly a stone's throw from the Parc, but not a far walk away either, is the Gracia neighborhood.
After visiting Parc Guell, take a leisurely stroll down to Gracia and explore the boutique designer shops and many patios where you can have a few tapas and drinks. This is an excellent neighborhood for browsing, shopping eating and going out at night.
If you continue walking down from Gracia, you'll hit another one of Gaudi's masterpieces. Our number eight pick, La Pedrera is a 'must see', especially if you have a thing for Gaudi and were inspired by his Parc Guell.
