Grab a bite to eat along the Mediterranean, in Barcelona's Port Vell. Situated along Barcelona's busiest and touristy port, there are a wide variety of delicious restaurants lining the boardwalk. Many specialize in paella and other seafood dishes, however there is a diverse mix of menu options at most restaurants.
Our number one pick is popular amongst both locals and tourists. Luz de Gas Port Vell is a boat restaurant situated in Port Vell's old harbor. Ideal for a few drinks, light tapas or an elaborate meal, this is an exciting and unique way to experience an evening in Barcelona.
If you're up for food drinks and then a bit of dancing, check out our number six pick. Mondo club, at the edge of the harbor is known for throwing amazing parties, usually with unique themes. It also serves food and drinks with an incredible and very well known seafood menu.
Not far from Port Vell and slightly into Barceloneta neighborhood is our number nine pick. If you're up for greasy, authentic Spanish tapas, then check out La Bombeta. This is about as local a restaurant as you'll get in Barcelona. Rusty wooden tables and chairs, with a selection of 'under the glass' tapas and the usual, neighborhood crew sitting in the corner smoking their pipes, La Bombeta is definitely a worthwhile experience, if not for the food then for the ambiance.
