Barcelona's Born neighborhood is home to more than Picasso's incredible works. If you feel like a drink after seeing Museu Picasso, check out the bars and clubs in and around the Born, one of the youngest and hippest areas in Barcelona to spend the evening.
Our number one pick is a tiny, informal, two story bar at the top of Paseo del Born. Pitin is one of the Born's most well known locals, featuring a wide range of drinks, a bit of food and an excellent out door patio open until 4am.
Go across the street from Pitin and you're able to drink and eat for the same price. Every evening our number two pick, Nose (meaning I don't know in Spanish) offers free tapas for the price of a drink. So if you're short on cash and want to fill up before going out, this is a great choice. Right around the corner, is one of the trendiest cocktail bars.
Our number six pick, Gimlet, is elegant, yet still very informal. Dimly lit and intimate, Gimlet often has live jazz and usually attracts a chic and 'uptown' type of crowd.
