This research aquarium center features fascinating tips and insight on Maine's dominant shoreline species – the famous Maine lobster. Visitors learn about the lobster's environment, how they live and breed, and even get a chance to view and hold these creatures up close. The property also features walking tours of a live lobster hatchery, a salt marsh, and even a lobster museum. A great, fun learning experience for the whole family. The oceanarium is open daily, except Sunday, from mid-May to late October.
