Day 1 - Bangkok
Most of today's activities are focused in the Sukhumvit area, which is known to be a haven for expats and tourists alike. Sukhumvit Soi 1 Guesthouse is a great option for travelers on a budget who are open to meeting other young people to share common adventures.
For the young, adventurous, budget-minded traveler, street food is a great option for trying out new foods and feeling local....and there's no need to worry about getting sick, as long as you choose wisely. But when you're in the mood for a restaurant, Cabbages and Condoms is a quirky place with a good cause to try out, and Took Lae Dee is open 24/7.
Cheap Charlie's, Nana Plaza, and Bed Supper Club are all within walking distance of each other, all very different from one another, and all attract a good amount of expats and tourists. Jumping from one to the next will give an interesting taste of different Bangkok scenes. But make sure you're reading to spend a bit more money than usual, because the cover charge at Bed Supper Club can be hefty.

Day 2 - Bangkok
After one day adjusting to Bangkok, it is time to go slightly more Thai. Most young travelers are interested in enjoying a mix of culture and nightlife, so today provides a good combo of the two.
Of all the touristy sites in Bangkok, Wat Pho is perhaps one of the most interesting and it shouldn't be missed. And Chinatown is a multi-sensory experience that adds some adventure to the day's activities.
As for the evening, the goal of tonight is to show just how much fun Thais can have. Ana's Garden is a perfect restaurant to share dishes with friends, and it is just down the street from Booze, which is a great bar with live music to start the night. After a bottle of whiskey or two, jump in a cab headed for RCA, a street with a strip of nightclubs. There's quite a number of venues to choose from, but Route 66 guarantees a great time no matter what type of music you prefer.

Day 3 - Bangkok
There are still many things to see and do in Bangkok, and the options are endless. For day three, these are just a few suggestions to add into your itinerary.
Chatuchak Market is an amazing site...name anything you can think of, and you can find it. Take note that this market is only open on the weekends, so plan accordingly.
Khao San Road is well known for nightlife, but it's also just an interesting area to walk around and people watch. So whether you go for the bars or not, it is worth the trip. But for a slightly more relaxed night than last (after thumping Thai clubs), Ad Makers and Saxophone Pub are great venues for good food and live music.
