Thai food is surely some of the best cuisine in the world. But eat it often enough and you might get the hankering for something different, a little variety. Bangkok is the sort of cosmopolitan city that can satisfy any desire. Thailand meets Mexico? As unlikely as it may sound there is a growing abundance of Mexican restaurants popping up in Bangkok. For North American travelers who have spent long periods in Bangkok, Mexican is one of those cuisines that seems to come up in the "what do you miss?" conversation. But if you crave a burrito or a taco or just some chips and salsa, Bangkok can set you up.
