Description:
Using the sort of big stage special effects one might expect from Broadway, Siam Niramit is a captivating song and dance show that will take you through elements of Thai culture, myth, and history. With a cast of over 150 and a technical crew almost as large, Siam Niramit is put on in a 2000-seat theater. At some points the stage is enshrouded in fogs or covered in water as a downpour hits and thunder fills the auditorium. Over a dozen of the dancers, suspended on wires, might be flying across the stage at one time. Real elephants take part in the show and even pass along the aisles at some point.
Also on site is an interactive Thai village, a buffet-style restaurant, and gift shop. All is open from 6-10pm daily, but the show itself is at 8pm.
You can get here by MRT Subway, getting off at Thailand Cultural Centre Station. There is a free shuttle bus at Exit 1 if you don't want to walk 800 meters.
