The Willock & Sax Gallery is owned and operated by Tom Willock and Susan Sax-Willock, who since 1999 have committed their business to the promotion of Western Canadian art. Initially, Willock & Sax was a Waterton Lakes gallery, but in 2007 the business was moved to Banff, the much more popular tourist destination. This gallery focuses on the artistic work of Albertans, in particular, as well as aboriginal and Inuit works. The wide variety of artistic media make this gallery special. You can find photographs, paintings, drawings, ceramics, art glass, sculpture, wood turning, and even jewelry. Month by month the gallery features a new artist. Some recent examples include Robert Sinclair, Garry Berteig, and Mitchell Fenton. The gallery is downtown, just a block off of Banff Ave. It is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
