Whether you're a family of 10, a newly-married couple, or a lone traveler, there are plenty of things to do in Banff. As it is surrounded by the majestic Canadian Rockies, blanketed by vast forests and alpine meadows, and crisscrossed with lakes and rivers, Banff National Park is a wonderful place for those who love the outdoors. If you come to Banff sans bicycle, you can rent one at many of the outfitting stores in Banff and the Lake Louise area. Other outdoor adventures include fishing, rafting and canoeing, golfing, and horseback riding. Visitors can experience Rocky Mountain adventures of all sorts with the Canadian Rockies Adventure Centre.
