Finding romantic things to do in Baltimore is easier than some may think. Many of the city's most romantic activities are found near water, however, you can find a few other gems nestled in neighborhoods that aren't within walking distance to any pier. Granted, Baltimore is no Paris, but you can wine, dine and be entertained just as well as in any other big city. It's just a matter of knowing where to go, who you're with, and what to do.
Romance doesn't always have to come with a hefty price tag. One inexpensive option is the 27th floor Observation deck in Baltimore's World Trade Center. It may not be an obvious choice for a date night stop but it offers panoramic views of the city's Inner Harbor, suitable enough for gazing and whispering.
A hand-in-hand stroll in the park is a simple and inexpensive way to be romantic. The park on top of Federal Hill offers a wide view of the city's waterfront, complete with stairs, statues, benches, and a walking path.
Just up the road, you can catch a ride on Harbor Cruises to enjoy a night of dining, music, and touring the Chesapeake. Of course, you'll need to make reservations beforehand, and it's a little more expensive than the other two options but consider it an all-inclusive evening of romance for the price.
