Description:
Opal Divine's Penn Field is equal parts bar and restaurant. They're serious about their Scotch (60 single malt Scotches) and their beer (36 craft-brewed and imported beers), and the food's not bad either. The Philly cheese steak sandwich with sweet peppers is huge and unwieldy but worth the effort. The Divine Cobb Salad won't help you lose weight, but it's a delicious mix of tomatoes, turkey, bacon, avocados, eggs, carrots and Gorgonzola with a blue cheese dressing. Recommended sides include cracked pepper fries, mac and cheese, and sweet potato fries. Situated on a hilltop, the restaurant also has an elevated outdoor deck with a view of downtown. Live music is sometimes featured on the patio. It's also the site of Geeks Who Drink, a weekly trivia contest.
