Description:

This little market is what has become of the vendors who were ousted from Aotea Square during refurbishment of that area. The truth is that it is nice to have a little market in the city even if it is a wee bit small. You can buy souvenirs here, or get your hippie gear. but there are also, and this is most important, curros with hot chocolate. Yes, that's right. Auckland is full of surprises.

The market is open on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. And you can walk to just about anywhere from here so it's a nice place to start your day.
