Description:

Dedicated to promoting 20th century American theater and making it accessible to a more widespread audience, the American Century Theater is named after a period of time dubbed "the American Century" - the latter have of the 20th century - by famous publisher Henry Luce.  The American Century Theater prides itself on reviving works that may have been overlooked, and commissioning new plays that espouse their ideals.
