It's pretty easy to take in a national park and not actually get much exercise, believe it or not. But here we've rounded up a list of the most active things to do in Arches. Meaning you'll get a workout with a great pay-off in the form of views and stunning natural beauty! Check out these great active things to do in Arches.
The first two on our list are Delicate Arch and the Fiery Furnace. These hikes seem to make almost every list. Why are they on this particular list? Because you'll not only work out, you'll get the opportunity to experience stellar hikes that people from all over the world come to Arches to do. On your way to Delicate Arch, you'll use those leg muscles during the last steep little push to the top. At the Fiery Furnace, you'll skip across, jump over, and sidle through the sandstone rocks scattered everywhere.
The Devils Garden and Windows Primitive Loop Hikes are ust that--primitive. Meaning they're no walk in the park. We included the Klondike Bluffs and Dark Angel because they're leg stretchers too, and also offer up slightly more unusual views in Arches.
The Junior Ranger program also gets a nod not because it's particularly strenuous, but because it does get kids outside, being active while they complete their booklet activities in order to get their badge. Now, that's probably our favorite active thing to do at Arches.
