It was tough to narrow down a list of top outdoor activities in Arches National Park. They're all outdoors! But we managed to round up the ones we think appeal to a wide range of hiking abilities with payoffs in terms of visual feasting. Check out these best outdoors activities in Arches when you visit.
Everyone who comes to Arches wants to see iconic Delicate Arch. The trail itself is a real hike, don't be fooled, but it's not crazy difficult. Landscape Arch is also really a must-see. Longer than a football field, it might be the longest natural arch in the world. The Devils Garden Loop shows off a plethora of arches, and some consider the entire loop one of the best hikes in southern Utah. You can also stop at several shorter hikes in it, like Landscape, so this can be a self-designed hike.
Don't confuse Double O Arch with Double Arch. They are each distinct, but each features two arches in close proximity to one another, which is a very cool effort from nature. Lots of people haven't heard of the Fiery Furnace hike. We think it's a great way to really see the park up close and personal, especially if you choose the ranger-led version.
Sand Dune makes the list because it's easy and fun for kids. Drk Angel is just a very interestingly-shaped rock and a good hike to boot. Tower Arch makes it because it's more remote, meaning you can enjoy Arches with fewer people on the trail with you.
