Bayou Joe's is a small restaurant that sits on top of Massalina Bayou and has a gorgeous view of St. Andrew Bay and the Tarpon Dock Drawbridge. They feature fresh seafood and the restaurant is accessible by car or boat. Table scraps do not go to waste as you get to toss them over the side of the dock to the awaiting fish below. The water is lit up at night so you can see the frenzy. One resident of the restaurant is Harold, a Great White Egret. Have a laugh as he goes fishing off of the dock for his own catch of the day. Bayou Joe's offers a full menu and and is family friendly and non-smoking. The staff is laid back and fun and always entertaining. This was one of the first restaurants I was introduced to in the area and have continued to visit for five years now. I have never had a bad experience and they treat tourists as locals.
