Description:

The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum got its start in the old city firehouse and has since expanded to four floors of interactive exhibits appropriate for children of all ages. The brightly colored building features massive spinning gears, revving up the curiosity of all who approach it. The ScienceWorks Lab at the museum offers a course where children get to help make gooey, green slime. A full-size ambulance allows kids to climb in, touch and learn about emergency medical care. The museum offers fun at every turn; climb a rock wall, encase yourself in a giant bubble, play a laser harp, and interact with simple machines. Explore the museum at your own pace with self-explanatory exhibits.
