This is a no-nonsense spa which targets those looking for the health benefits of sauna, massage and relaxation, rather than the more luxurious, sandal-wood scented beauty oriented spas. They offer a per hour tariff for the facilities, for those who want to just drop in, rather than make a whole day of it. Ideal for a quick warm in the winter! Located in a historic bath house, the facilities include a sauna, steam room, rest area, plunge pool and a sun studio. They also offer Yoga, massage, facials and waxing. Massages on offer include aroma-therapy, Swedish, sports and foot reflexology.

The spa is located a couple of kilometres from the centre, but a trip here will give you a real taste of Amsterdam and a truly unpretentious service. Trams 3,7,10 and 14 all stop at Molukkenstraat/Insulindeweg close by the spa, and take around 10 minutes from the centre. Yoga is tailored to all levels and available on Friday and Saturday 11-12, and on Wednesdays at 18:45 and 20:00.
