Spa Zuiver is the largest, newest and most exclusive spa in Amsterdam. It is located in the middle of a large forest area on the edge of Amsterdam about 20 minutes by tram from the centre. Surrounded by mature forest, the location offers true relaxation and the interior design is award winning.It has every facility you can possibly think of, including a hotel if you feel like continuing your relaxation programme into the night! The facilities include, quiet rooms, Finish saunas, hot tubs, whirlpools, a Turkish hamam, ice rooms and more. They also have large landscaped grounds and several outdoor pools.
A word of warning for visitors from countries where bathing suits are worn in the sauna. This is not the case for the majority of saunas in the Netherlands, where bathing suits are actually not allowed. Spa Zuiver is no exception, although strategic positioning of an extra towel is! Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month is open for those who prefer to wear their bathing suits.
Reservations are recommended during holiday periods and weekends.
