This bakery is an absolute must-visit! The French bread at this shop is authentic and made using traditional methods and a lot of patience! Famous pastry chefs came from France to teach them the art of making croissants and nothing is left to chance. The focaccia is filled with fresh herbs; and the muffins and desserts will leave your mouth watering. The smells that greet you as you enter make it almost impossible to purchase only what you came for. If you came for a baguette, prepare to eat a quiche for lunch while you're there, and then leave with your baguette, some lemon cake made with tangy lemon zest (highly recommended), and a few goat cheese and sun-dried tomato muffins! Prices are around 30% higher than normal, but well worth it. Conveniently located next to the Albert Cuyp Market.
